Welcome to the Indus Transportation Department

Welcome, to the transportation area of the Indus school I.S.D. 363 web site. Here you will find useful information regarding our schools transportation policies and also links to other school bus transportation information. We hope that you will take a few minutes and browse through the links.

The North American school bus transportation system is the safest form of land transportation in the world according to some studies, School Transportation News.

At Indus school our school bus transportation is divided between two school district-operated bus routes and three contractor-operated bus routes. We have a total of five regular bus routes transporting our pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade students to and from school.

Our school bus routes serves all of the surrounding areas to the west and east of our school, including: Baudette, Clementson, Border, Birchdale, Indus, Loman, Pelland Junction, Littlefork, Ericsburg, International Falls and Ranier.

About Our Buses:

At Indus school we believe that the safety of the children while on the school bus is extremely important. The district's schools buses and our school bus contractor’s buses are all required to meet strict state, federal and Board of Education standards. All of the buses are also inspected and certified by Department of Transportation State Troopers every year.
